the brit award nominations were announced yesterday, and the talented james blunt garnered five nominations. how many grammys is he up for? zero. i know, what the fuck? even the black eyed peas got nominated for a grammy… though thank god it wasn’t for “my humps.”
i must admit… at first, i didn’t really want to like james blunt. when i first heard his breakthrough single “you’re beautiful,” i thought it was boring and kinda whiny. i have since changed my mind, as i often do when it comes to a truly well-written pop song.
good luck at the brits, james! i bet they’re much more fun than the grammys anyway.
