i always had a thing for pelle almqvist, lead singer of the hives. he’s not only disarmingly handsome - i’m also inspired by his boundless energy. even if his band isn’t in the spotlight at the moment (will they ever top their breakthrough disc, veni vidi vicious?), “howlin’” pelle is definitely this week’s hot rock star.
i just realized something else. pelle bears an uncanny resemblance (especially in this photo) to my main squeeze of two and a half years, stoney. it’s odd that i never realized it until now. they wear their hair a similar way and they have identical jawlines. that means all of you should be very jealous of me… haha!
