i saw the scissor sisters last night and the show was fantastic!! they opened strong with “take me out,” and kept going for two hours. i’m really glad they were able to perform in music city… i know the crowd was really into it, so hopefully we’ll be a regular on their tour itinerary.
besides jake shears’ gradual striptease (yes, please!), one of my favorite parts of the show was ana matronic’s comedy interludes. she told the audience that she had made her hair extra big that night, in honor of nashville. “it’s up to jesus,” she said, “like dolly parton.”
i’m super excited that ta-dah has been received so well (comparitavely) stateside. and i was happy to see that people were singing along to the new songs. all in all, it was an energetic, memorable performance – well done!!
I need to get my ass to a concert stat! It’s been too long.
I may check out the Fray, JT, Xtina Aguilera we will see. =)
Glad you enjoyed the show, I should get the Scissor Sisters album.
