¡viva la graham!

i’m guessing she knows who gwen stefani is, but i’m not sure she’s jamming to “wind it up” when she gets ready for high tea.

regardless, the video for gwen’s new track is here… and it is of course very well done. going with the sound of music theme is no surprise, really, but it’s entertaining enough. as for the song, it has grown on me somewhat. and now that the promo clip is here, i might as well make it video of the week. (though i’m still not sure if i’d like this if anyone else had recorded it.)

on a side note, a friend of mine pointed out that parts of “wind it up” sound a bit like peaches, if you consider the bassline and gwen’s monotone delivery. strangely enough, i sort of agree. then again, i couldn’t imagine peaches yodeling with a striaght face.
