according to a statement on kylie minogue’s official web site, “excuse my french,” a track that many believed had somehow leaked from her current recording sessions, isn’t kylie after all.
the site claims kylie has never recorded a song by that name, despite the fact that the vocals sound exactly like those of the australian pop princess. since they say it isn’t kylie, that means i can share the mp3 here on ¡viva la graham! without legal consequences… so here you go (right click save as)! obviously, like myself, some other obsessed fan was convinced enough to create this mock-up of a single sleeve cover (pictured), so this official denial really only deepens the mystery.
though the truth may never be known, i think the track was purposely leaked to see what sort of immediate response the demo would receive on the internet. many were not impressed, which could explain why she would not accept responsibility for it. i agree that it’s not the best song ever — definitely not single material — but it would have been a nice album track.
any thoughts from other kylie fans out there?

It does sound similar to Kylie but not quite right. More like Dannii.
