geffen records is currently sitting on one of the best pop songs of the year, and i’m quite certain they have no idea what to do about it.
o.c. fave rooney have hit it out of the park with “when did your heart go missing.” the track manages to take all the best bit of the ’80s without most of the crap (yes the lyrics could have been better, but this is a minor complaint) - and yet it still sounds like it belongs in 2007!! the band has always excelled at creating memorable melodies, but i think i hear a xylophone this time around, which is definitely cause for celebration. where have you been, old friend?
