swedish indie act the hives have just released their fantastic new single “tick tick boom” from their forthcoming black and white album. you might have seen the band performing the track in a new advertisement for nike (watch it here). while i don’t necessarily endorse such blatant commercialism, the massive exposure sure won’t hurt the band’s chances of success this time around. and did i mention the song rocks?? if you liked “hate to say i told you so” or “walk idiot walk,”you’ll definitely love the explosive “tick tick boom.”
the single is already available to download via itunes in the u.s., though u.k. fans will have to wait until next month to legally obtain the track. in other what-the-fuck news, the band is currently touring north america with maroon 5. next thing we know hilary duff will be taking peaches with her on the road.
