i’m not the biggest fan, but i do think the donnas are a talented group of young ladies. their last album didn’t do much for me, but fingers crossed their latest effort, bitchin’, is as much fun as their major-label breakthrough, spend the night.
one of the things i love about the donnas is that they stick to what they do best — straightforward guitar-heavy rock and roll. their booze and boy-centric lyrics don’t hurt matters either!
if lead single “don’t wait up for me” is any indication, we are in for a treat. check it out over at the band’s myspace, and catch the band on tour (they’re a blast to see live!) this autumn.
