“sexy! no no no…,” the new single from british girl group girls aloud, is a high-energy, guitar-fueled dance track that will satisfy most euro-pop tarts, yet despite its appeal i don’t see it making waves on this side of the pond. americans tend to limit their intake of drivel to disney musicals.
it’s puzzling, though. i’m surprised girls aloud haven’t been embraced by u.s. gays at the very least. they’re such divas, and their songs are almost always dance-floor friendly. then again, not even sugababes have really cracked the states (and in my opinion they have a much better chance). go figure.
