my favorite closet case, anderson cooper, just scored a major coup by nabbing the first interview with international film star (and notorious homewrecker) angelina jolie.

what i want to know is, what the hell are these two going to talk about? i highly doubt she has decided to finally open up about everything, just like that. she’ll probably just blather on about how wonderful africa is, or how she feels so fulfilled as a mother. you know what would really be great? if anderson dared to bring up jennifer aniston. of course, angelina would simply dodge the question by asking anderson about his boyfriend.

cnn’s inimitable anderson cooper must be getting the lowdown on gay tv from carson kressley, as he recently dished to entertainment weekly about his taste for mtv’s my super sweet 16, among others. i bet carson totally identified with bjorn, the ultra-queeny guy with the dreadlocks who had a fashion show for his birthday.

i actually can’t hold this against anyone (particularly anderson!), because i’ve obviously seen it myself! on an equally embarrassing note, yesterday i was sick and bored, so i watched a marathon of who’s wedding is it anyway? on the style network. which is more pathetic? i’m not quite sure.

today cnn’s ubiquitous anderson cooper co-hosted live!, stepping in for an absent regis, and there was something different going on between him and kelly. she wasn’t flirting like she usually does, though she was still having plenty of fun. it was almost like she was preoccupied… she must have been trying to think of a hot gay friend to set up with mr. cooper.

i’ve always had a soft spot for her, and i’m not really sure why. maybe i was just sensing that she’d be totally down with going to a drag show.
