British pop tart Lily Allen continues to churn out singles from her successful sophomore effort, It’s Not Me, It’s You. The latest is my favorite track from the album, “Who’d Have Known,” a sweet, lush ballad about the beginnings of a new relationship.
The new promo video pokes fun at the alleged feud between Allen and Elton John. Though the pair insist it was overblown by the press, an inebriated Lily told him to “fuck off” several times while presenting an award together last year. In the clip, the sassy songbird kidnaps an Elton look-a-like, ties him to a chair and forces him to profess his undying love for her. I eagerly await the piano man’s response…
